Magdan Construction LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website magdanconstruction.com and the Magdan mobile application for our staff. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide to us.
Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when filling out our contact form or requesting a quote, including:
Name
Email address
Phone number (including mobile number)
Service type and property details
We also create and keep records related to the work we perform for you, including project notes, insurance claim details where applicable, and photographs of the work site taken by our staff (see Section 4).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
Respond to your service inquiry
Schedule inspections and appointments
Send appointment confirmations and reminders via SMS, phone, or email
Communicate updates related to your project or service request
Document the condition of the property and the work performed, for your records, our records, and where applicable your insurance claim
SMS / Text Message Communications
No mobile information, including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent, will be shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
By providing your mobile phone number and submitting our contact form, you consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Magdan Construction related to appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and project updates.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at magdanconstruction@gmail.com.
Our Staff Mobile Application
We provide a mobile application, "Magdan," to our own employees and authorized contractors. It is an internal work tool: it is available only to personnel who already have an account in our systems, it is not offered to customers or to the general public, and you are never asked to install or use it.
What it does. Our staff use the app on site to document the work. Photographs taken with the app, or selected from the staff member's phone, are uploaded to our systems and attached to the corresponding project record. The app also displays existing project information to the staff member on site — such as your name, address, phone number, claim number, and project notes — and allows them to add notes and to send you the same appointment and project text messages described in Section 3, under the same opt-out terms.
Photographs of your property. Photographs of the work site taken by our staff are part of the project record and are handled under this Policy, including Sections 4 through 7. A copy of a photograph taken with the app also remains in the photo gallery of the staff member's phone, in the same way as any other photograph taken with that device.
Information collected from our staff. When a staff member signs in, the app stores a secure access token on their device so they do not have to sign in repeatedly; their password is not stored on the device. The app requests access to the device camera, in order to take project photographs, and permission to display notifications, in order to report the status of photo uploads. The app does not collect location data, contacts, personal files, or browsing activity, contains no advertising, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking software.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information — including your phone number and SMS opt-in data — with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g., scheduling or CRM software, and the providers who host our systems and deliver our text messages on our behalf), under strict confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. Your data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized Magdan Construction staff.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at office@magdanconstruction.com.
